Repair Information


The repair department of The Music Shoppe, Inc. is well known for its high quality workmanship and affordable prices. Our technicians have trained with some of the most respected names in the business. We are able to repair all types of band and orchestra instruments as well as most percussion. We offer pick-up and delivery service to most Central Illinois schools. Walk in customers are always welcome. On rentals we offer a Maintenance and Replacement option.

For a small monthly fee, we will help you keep your instrument in great shape. We also offer a service contract that is renewable yearly. It covers all adjustments and repairs necessary to keep the instrument in proper playing condition. When you purchase a step-up instrument from us, we will give you the first year of a service contract for free. We are dedicated to assisting the music community and always give free estimates.

Turn-around time for job completion is dependent on the season. Most of the time, it is between two and five business days. In the summer or first month of school, it can run up to ten days. If you are renting with us, have purchased your instrument from us, or in emergency scenarios, we do offer loaners free of charge.
