Introducing the Piano Music Enrichment Group Class, an exclusive opportunity for
exceptionally talented piano students to elevate their musical journey to new heights.
Led by Dr. Afrim Shabani, an Advanced Teacher Specialist in Piano, Music History, and
Music Theory certified by the Royal Conservatory of Music, this program is tailored for
students who are already enrolled in piano lessons and deeply engaged in piano and
music theory exams, festivals, masterclasses, recitals, and competitions.

This well rounded and comprehensive class offers a dynamic curriculum designed to
enrich every aspect of a pianist's musical understanding and performance capabilities.
Students will delve into music theory, honing their understanding of harmony, rhythm,
and structure to deepen their interpretive abilities. Ear training exercises will sharpen
their music listening skills and memorization of piano repertoire pieces, enabling them to
play with greater precision and musicality.

Delving into music history, students will explore the rich tapestry of musical traditions
that inform the repertoire they study, gaining insight into the composers and contexts
behind the music they play. Through guided listening sessions, students will develop a
discerning ear, learning to appreciate and analyze a wide range of musical styles and
genres.
