The PRS SE Silver Sky Maple is a familiar evolution of the original Silver Sky platform developed with John Mayer, combining classic single coil character with modern PRS craftsmanship and feel.

Built with a poplar body and bolt-on maple neck, this model delivers a balanced and responsive tonal foundation with strong clarity and articulation. The maple fretboard adds additional snap and brightness while maintaining a smooth playing feel.

The 25.5 inch scale length and original 635JM neck carve provide a comfortable and familiar playing experience, while the 8.5 inch fretboard radius offers an easy balance between chord work, bends, and lead playing.

Equipped with three PRS 635JM “S” single coil pickups, the SE Silver Sky Maple delivers clear, expressive tones with strong note separation and dynamic response. From clean rhythm tones to edge-of-breakup textures, the pickup set maintains clarity and balance across all five positions.

Additional Description include a two-point steel tremolo, vintage-style tuners, synthetic bone nut, and PRS double-acting truss rod with easy access at the front of the headstock.
