The PRS Custom 24-08 builds on the original Custom 24 platform by combining the iconic PRS design with an expanded electronics package for exceptional tonal flexibility.

The maple top paired with a mahogany body provides a balanced tonal foundation with warmth, sustain, and excellent clarity. The one-piece mahogany neck features a Pattern Thin profile, offering smooth, comfortable playability across all 24 frets.

PRS TCI treble and bass pickups deliver an open, musical voice with outstanding articulation and dynamic response. Designed to capture a broad range of expressive tones, they provide everything from full humbucking sounds to clear, articulate voices with remarkable note definition.

Rather than traditional coil splits, the Custom 24-08 uses two mini-toggle EQ switches that function as tuned high-pass filters. When engaged, they reduce low frequencies while allowing more upper-end detail to come through, creating a distinct tonal character inspired by the Private Stock John McLaughlin model.

Additional features include the PRS Gen III patented tremolo and Phase III locking tuners with wing buttons for expressive performance and dependable tuning stability.
